We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Finance Specialist who will support financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting policies, and contribute to accurate financial reporting.
What will you do?
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable activities, including supplier invoice verification, processing, and follow-up with shared service teams.
- Monitor supplier accounts, resolve invoice discrepancies, and support timely vendor payments.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate outstanding reconciling items.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and post accruals, prepayments, recurring entries, and other journal entries.
- Maintain fixed asset records, including asset creation, transfers, disposals, and depreciation reviews.
- Coordinate intercompany transactions, debit notes, confirmations, and reconciliations.
- Review VAT and withholding tax transactions and support tax reporting and statutory compliance requirements.
- Monitor GR/IR balances and collaborate with operational teams to resolve open items.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of banking and treasury-related accounting records.
- Support cash flow forecasting, liquidity monitoring, and monthly cash flow reporting.
- Process treasury-related transactions, payment requests, and banking documentation in line with company policies.
- Monitor outstanding payments, returned transactions, and clearing accounts to ensure timely resolution.
- Support bank guarantee, letter of credit, and other treasury administration activities when required.
- Assist in internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control requirements.
- Partner with business leaders, project managers, procurement, HR, and operational teams to provide financial guidance and resolve finance-related matters.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, reporting quality, and operational efficiency.
Are you the one?
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting, financial controlling, treasury, or finance operations.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Understanding of VAT, withholding tax, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience with petty cash management, banking operations, and treasury processes is an advantage.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Professional certification such as SOCPA, CMA, ACCA, CPA, ACA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Candidates actively pursuing a professional accounting qualification will also be considered favorably.
