Technology Finance provides financial control, reporting and planning services to the Technology division. We partner closely with stakeholders across the business to understand financial performance, support strategic priorities and deliver meaningful insights that drive value.
As part of the broader Technology Finance team, you'll collaborate with finance and non-finance stakeholders to coordinate planning cycles, challenge assumptions and support the delivery of accurate forecasts and strategic plans. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Forecasting & Planning, you'll join a team passionate about influencing strategic outcomes through transparent insights and strong partnerships.
Your impact
In this role, you will:
- Support the delivery of Technology's annual operating plan and monthly forecasting processes
- Prepare and maintain financial models to support forecasting, planning and business decision-making
- Partner with Technology Business Partners and Enablement teams to gather, challenge and analyse forecast assumptions
- Provide insights into Technology's cost base, including driver analysis and recommendations to improve productivity and performance
- Contribute to executive reporting, including the CEO and CFO reporting pack presented twice yearly
- Assist the business in enhancing forecasting accuracy and optimising performance through continuous improvement initiatives
- Support investment decision-making, capitalisation reviews and strategic investment analysis where required
- Ensure robust risk management, governance and financial control practices are maintained
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Technology and Finance
- Drive process simplification and operational efficiency across planning and forecasting activities
We're interested in hearing from people who have
- CA, CPA, CIMA or CFA qualification
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis
- Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence outcomes across diverse teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Well-developed critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and operational excellence
- A proactive approach to risk management and financial governance
