Financial Services partners with businesses across CommBank to provide specialist financial management and strategic advice. Within Group Financial Reporting & Analysis (FR&A), the Planning & Forecasting team is responsible for Group-wide planning, forecasting, performance reporting and strategic decision support.
This team works closely with senior leaders across the Group, providing insights that help optimise performance, capital allocation and long-term growth.
Your impact
You will help deliver the Group's annual planning process, monthly forecasts and strategic analysis that supports decision-making at the highest levels of the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering insightful analysis on Group revenue drivers, cost management, capital efficiency and risk-adjusted returns.
- Managing and continuously improving Group planning and forecasting processes.
- Leading automation and reporting transformation initiatives across the team.
- Providing scenario modelling and forecasting to support the Group's financial outlook.
- Building trusted relationships across Finance and business stakeholders to influence outcomes.
- Supporting the delivery of strategic reporting and analysis for the Board, CEO, CFO and Executive Leadership Team.
We're interested in hearing from people who have
- CA or CPA qualification.
- Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in financial planning, forecasting, performance reporting or commercial finance.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
- Advanced Excel skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Tableau, Alteryx or Power BI is advantageous.
- A proactive risk mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
