You will deliver strategic insights and recommendations to support the Commodity Risk Management Team in optimizing the company’s margin risk exposure. You will focus on high-value analysis, market intelligence, and scenario planning to inform risk management decisions and drive business value. This role involves daily interaction with commodity risk managers combined with regular touchpoints with stakeholders across procurement, procurement finance, and zone business units

Key Ingredients:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of commodity markets, including supply/demand dynamics, macroeconomic trends, and geopolitical factors impacting key inputs.

• Synthesize complex market data into actionable insights and recommendations for risk managers and senior stakeholders.

• Lead scenario planning and stress testing to evaluate potential impacts on company margin and procurement strategies.

• Collaborate with commodity risk managers to design and evaluate hedging strategies, leveraging advanced analytics and market intelligence.

• Develop and present strategic recommendations to optimize commodity portfolio management and support business planning.

• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of implemented risk strategies, recommending adjustments as needed.

• Prepare and deliver clear, concise presentations and reports for senior management, procurement, and business units.

• Translate complex market and risk concepts into business implications and recommended actions.

• Support the team’s subject matter expertise on commodity market trends and risk management best practices.

• I have years of experience in commodity markets, with a focus on strategic analysis and risk management (energy or agricultural sector preferred)

• I have a demonstrated ability to deliver actionable market insights and strategic recommendations

• I have advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience with scenario analysis and modeling

• I have strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers

• I am proficient in Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and data visualization tools

• I have experience with process automation and continuous improvement initiatives

• I have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
