Are you ready to join the leadership team as a RN Unit Coordinator for the Rehabilitation Nursing Department at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Shift:
Full-time (36hrs) - Weekend Days 7a-7p
Department:
9A is a 16-bed medical /surgical unit that specializes in rehabilitation. Our Nurses are able to gain skills in medical/surgical nursing to include physical assessments, IV therapy, central line care, pain management, provide proper skin, wound vac care, burn trauma care, medication administration, and also help develop goals of care with the interdisciplinary team. (physical, occupational, and speech therapists). We are looking for compassionate nurses to join our team that help can encourage and educate our patients to self-manage and prepare them for a smooth transition to their home setting and the community.
Job Description:
Demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.
Job Requirements:
18 months Acute Care nursing experience required.
BSN required.
Experience on a Rehab unit a plus!

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $47.42 - $68.63 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
