Oneida ESC Group has an immediate opening for a Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Intern for the Summer of 2027 based out of our Milwaukee, WI Office. This is a part-time, summer internship scheduled for Monday-Thursday per week, eight hours per day (32 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition – Approximately 50%
- Support the Talent Acquisition team throughout the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, scheduling, and communication.
- Assist with reviewing resumes and identifying qualified candidates based on position requirements.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Support employer-branding initiatives.
- Assist with creating and maintaining recruiting communications and job postings.
Human Resources – Approximately 50%
- Assist with day-to-day HR administrative activities and employee support.
- Support onboarding activities for new employees, including preparation of new-hire materials and coordination of onboarding tasks.
- Assist with maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Support HRIS data entry and maintenance while maintaining confidentiality of employee information.
- Assist with employee communications and HR-related projects.
- Support the development and organization of HR resources, forms, and procedures.
- Assist with tracking HR-related metrics and preparing reports.
- Conduct research related to HR practices, policies, employee engagement, and workplace trends.
- Provide administrative support for employee programs and initiatives.
- Assist with special projects across the Human Resources function as needed.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment when handling sensitive information.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship, work, volunteer, or academic experience related to Human Resources or Talent Acquisition.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), or other business systems.
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing, event coordination, or customer service.
- Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or a related field.
