As a Project Finance Accountant (PFA) Student, you’ll work alongside finance, operations, and delivery teams while gaining hands-on experience with SAP, including S/4HANA, project budgeting, invoicing, and revenue recognition. You’ll build practical skills, learn from experienced colleagues, and develop a strong foundation for future opportunities such as Project Controller or Finance Business Partner.
What you will do
- Support the setup and follow-up of project financial data in SAP.
- Help maintain project budgets, billing milestones, and planned costs.
- Participate in customer invoicing and basic revenue recognition activities.
- Contribute to the accurate closure of project objects in SAP.
- Help ensure data quality and compliance with accounting requirements.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and delivery teams to connect project execution with financial performance.
- Support audits by preparing and maintaining clear documentation of project financials.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives, including SAP enhancements and AI-enabled tools.
What you bring
- You are in the final stages of a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
- Good Excel skills and an interest in learning and working with SAP.
- A curious and analytical mindset, with strong attention to detail.
- An interest in finance, accounting, or project controlling, demonstrated through coursework, projects, or previous experience.
- A proactive and responsible approach, with the confidence to suggest improvements and challenge the status quo.
- Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow in an international environment.
