Your role
As a working student in the Finance Department, you will play a key role in our day-to-day financial operations. You will directly support our accountant, handling essential tasks that keep our finance functions running smoothly. This role is perfect for a student with an interest in accounting and finance who enjoys working with data and wants to gain practical, hands-on experience by contributing to the team’s daily workflow.

Daily Accounting Operations
Support day-to-day accounting tasks, including processing invoices and managing accounts payable and receivable.
Assist the accountant with month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
Ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Data & Process Management
Maintain and organize financial databases and spreadsheets, ensuring high data accuracy and integrity.
Monitor financial data to identify discrepancies or errors.
Proactively handle administrative finance tasks to support the team’s efficiency.

You have a strong interest in understanding how accounting and finance processes work in practice.
You are comfortable handling data and have a good grasp of Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
What you add to our crew
- Currently enrolled in at least the fourth semester of a Bachelor’s or a Master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Have availability for a minimum of 1 year.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, with a minimum proficiency level of B1/B2 in German and English required for this position.
- To qualify for this role, candidates are required to reside and be officially registered in Berlin, Germany.
- On-site for at least two days/week.
