About the role

SC Johnson is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition professional / Senior Recruiter to join our EMEA Talent Acquisition team in Arese, Milan.

In this role, you will manage full-cycle recruitment, partnering closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders to attract, assess and hire qualified talent. You will act as a trusted recruitment partner, advising the business on hiring strategies while delivering a high-quality experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

You will also contribute to local, regional and global Talent Acquisition initiatives, including employer branding, recruitment training, employee referrals and diversity and inclusion.

What you’ll do

Lead end-to-end recruitment

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening through interviewing, selection and offer.
• Develop targeted sourcing strategies using direct sourcing, referrals, professional networks and online recruitment channels.
• Build and maintain talent networks to identify qualified candidates for current and future opportunities.
• Manage relationships and SCJ employer brand with universities in Milan and surrounding areas
• Manage careers events with university representatives and SCJ business managers
• Review applications and assess candidates against the skills, experience and requirements of each role.
• Conduct candidate interviews and support structured, behavioural-based assessment processes.

Partner with hiring managers

• Build strong relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders, acting as a trusted Talent Acquisition partner.
• Partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies appropriate to each hiring need.
• Advise and guide managers throughout the recruitment process.
• Facilitate post-interview discussions and support clear, timely hiring decisions.
• Make hiring recommendations within your assigned areas.

Deliver a strong candidate experience

• Provide candidates with clear and accurate information about SC Johnson, the role and the recruitment process.
• Prepare candidates for interviews and ensure appropriate communication throughout the hiring journey.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition Coordinators to manage interview scheduling and logistics.
• Explain compensation and benefits and manage the offer process within company compensation guidelines.

Improve how we recruit

• Work collaboratively with the wider Talent Acquisition team to develop recruitment and sourcing strategies.
• Contribute to creative and cost-conscious approaches to attracting talent.
• Track recruitment activity and provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on open positions and hiring results.
• Support continuous improvement through feedback from hiring managers and new hires.

Contribute to Talent Acquisition projects

Alongside your recruitment portfolio, you will contribute to Talent Acquisition initiatives at local, regional or global level. These may include:

• Recruitment and hiring training
• Employer branding and university recruitment activities
• Employee referral initiatives
• Diversity and inclusion activities
• Social media and recruitment communications

What you’ll bring

Essential experience

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of progressive recruitment experience within an in-house Talent Acquisition team and/or recruitment/search firm.
• Strong experience managing full-cycle recruitment, including direct sourcing, candidate assessment and selection.
• Experience partnering with hiring managers and managing multiple recruitment processes and stakeholder relationships simultaneously.
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to source, track and manage candidates; experience with Workday is preferred.
• Professional fluency in English plus at least one European language.
• Ability to travel within the region when required, with overnight travel expected to be no more than approximately 10%.

Preferred experience

• Recruitment experience within consumer goods / CPG, supply chain or logistics environment.
• Experience recruiting within Commercial or Marketing functions is also relevant.
• Additional languages a plus

Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees.

The expected gross salary range for this position is between 50,760.00 EUR - 66,622.50 EUR. Job related skills, experience, and education, will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive, and/or long-term incentives.
