Human Resources Business Partner

Position Summary

• Serve as the primary HR partner and trusted advisor to managers and employees. 
• Manage employee relations, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, performance management, and corrective actions. 
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices. 
• Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for all positions, including hard-to-fill roles, through candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection, workforce planning, new hire integration, and offboarding activities.
• Manage workers’ compensation claims, employee communication, documentation, and return-to-work coordination. 
• Promote workplace health and safety, support incident investigations, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions. 
• Administer employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA, and other applicable leaves, ensuring timely communication, accurate documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate employee records, I-9 documentation, and HR compliance files. 
• Oversee fleet administration and ensure employee DOT certifications remain current and compliant. 
• Serve as the primary point of contact for expense approvals and policy implementation. 
• Partner with HR leadership and global teams to improve HR programs, policies, and processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or related experience.
• Strong experience in employee relations, investigations, recruiting, training and performance management.
• Knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting multiple locations and/or remote teams.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel occasionally within the U.S.

• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, field service, or multinational organizations.
• Experience with multi-state compliance and payroll processes.
• Office Requirements:
• Regular on-site attendance is required.
• Ability to work at a computer and communicate by phone, email, and video conferencing for extended periods.
• Occasional travel to other U.S. locations may be required.
