Vice President, Operations - South

The Vice President, Operations - South will lead CLEAR’s airport operations across our South region, with responsibility for delivering exceptional security, member experience, sales, and people outcomes. You’ll lead a large organization of frontline team members and general managers while driving growth, operational excellence, and a high-performing culture across the region. This is a key role on our Airport Operations leadership team.

What you'll do:

• Own operational and financial performance across CLEAR’s South region, delivering against security, member experience, enrollment, sales, labor, and profitability goals
• Lead, coach, and develop Regional Directors and General Managers, building a strong leadership bench and driving clear accountability and consistent execution across the region
• Drive regional growth by maximizing performance at existing airports, supporting new airport launches, and accelerating adoption of new products and experiences
• Build trusted relationships with senior airport, aviation, and internal stakeholders, representing CLEAR at the executive level and aligning partners around shared business and operational priorities
• Partner cross-functionally with People, Training, Compliance, Member Experience, Finance, and other teams to strengthen execution, develop talent, uphold CLEAR’s standards, and continuously improve the member and team member experience

 

How you'll measure success:

• Security and compliance performance across all airports within the South
• Achievement of regional balanced scorecard targets, including enrollment, member experience, sales, labor, and operating performance
• Division-level profit contribution at or above established targets
• Hiring, retention, internal mobility, and leadership development across the regional organization

 

What you're great at:

• 15+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, including leading large, geographically dispersed teams in high-volume, 24/7/365 environments
• Owning P&L performance, forecasting, labor and cost management, and sales or revenue goals across complex multi-site operations
• Building high-performing sales and service cultures with a strong focus on customer experience, operational rigor, and measurable results
• Leading through leaders, developing strong management teams, and creating accountability and engagement across large frontline organizations
• Exercising sound judgment in fast-moving environments, building credibility with frontline teams and senior executives, and influencing effectively across internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to travel up to 75% across the region and periodically to CLEAR’s New York City headquarters

The base salary range for this role is $250,000.00 - $300,000.00, depending on levels of skills and experience.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of CLEAR’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEAR’s total compensation package for employees and other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units.
