Exciting news! We're looking for a Logistics Coordinator I to join our Shipping Department. Working Schedule: 8:30AM - 5PM Monday – Friday

$25.25/hr - $28.95/hr

Requirements

Summary

Assists with the logistics of materials and  environmental test chambers. The Logistics Coordinator I includes a combination  of office and warehouse responsibilities.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

· Processes chamber/warranty shipments  using the company ERP system and (UPS/FedEx) shipping programs.

· Uses Microsoft Word and Excel to create the  bill of lading, manifest, and packing slip for shipments. 

· Prepares USMCA, commercial invoice, and  certificate of origin documents using existing template from the government or  created by ESPEC.

· Creates shipping labels using Microsoft  Excel, Word, and DYMO program.

· Processes shipments with selected  carriers.

· Operates  a forklift to load and unload freight indoors and outdoors.

· Cleans work area  daily using broom, dustpan, etc.  

· Regular physical  attendance is required. 

· Performs other routine duties as assigned.

Education

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.


Skills and Experience

· Ability to read a tape measure required.

· Computer skills, including the use of a tablet, required. 

· Knowledge of Microsoft office to include (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams), required.

· Experience using hand tools required. 

· Ability to operate forklift preferred.

· While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. 

· May also be required to perform lock out tag out on energized jobs and will need to understand lock out tag out procedures.

· Occasional exposure to outdoor elements while loading and unloading freight.
