Job Summary:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The following is a list of essential duties & key responsibilities assigned to the role. Other duties may be assigned.
Demonstrate leadership and a fiduciary responsibility to Cemstone, while successfully pursuing and achieving overall project success and customer satisfaction, retention and growth.
Drive customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and long-term business success through effective project management, cross-functional collaboration, and alignment with Cemstone's mission and core values.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, architects, engineers, vendors, and clients to provide regular updates on project progress, address issues, and maintain strong working relationships.
Help in the development detailed plans, schedules, and budgets for all phases of the construction project, from initiation to completion.
Identify and mitigate risks, monitor the quality of workmanship, and conduct site inspections to assess progress and ensure adherence to project specifications.
Monitor costs, track resource allocations, and process change orders to ensure adherence to financial constraints.
Ensure all construction activities comply with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements on job sites.
Attend job site meetings and concrete placements.
When asked, participate in industry group meetings, conferences and webinars.
Perform all other duties as assigned by Cemstone Management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to read, write, and speak in English.
Proficiency with project scheduling and management software preferred.
Proficient with computers and ability to learn new programs quickly.
Strong abilities in planning, organizing, problem solving and multitasking.
Ability to work well with others in a teamwork environment.
Must be able to follow instructions and adhere to all the company’s safety policy procedures and recommendations.
Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or similar program
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work environment and physical demands described here are characteristic and representative of those that must be made by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Meeting daily production demands may result in stressful situations
Work in an office, production facilities, and yards subject to dust, noise concentrations, and temperature changes
Wear proper safety equipment such as hard hat, ear protection, safety boots, safety glasses.
Work up to 8-10 hour shifts, as needed, including some early morning start times and/or late night ending times.
Lift and/or carry up to 50 lb. occasionally. Grip, grasp, or twisting your hands and wrists regularly throughout a shift. Bending and stooping is regularly required throughout the day. Work may be subject to heights and closed spaces.
Pay: $65,000 - $85,000
