Description
Our Why
Fourth Street Clinic helps Utahns experiencing homelessness improve their health and quality of life by providing high-quality, integrated healthcare. Our team is passionate, collaborative, and deeply committed to health equity and human dignity.
What You’ll Handle
As our Registered Nurse – Triage, you’ll keep the clinic moving smoothly while making sure every patient feels seen, heard, and safe. You’ll provide outpatient triage and RN visits, support continuity of care, and partner closely with providers and the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care—especially for people experiencing homelessness and other vulnerabilities.
Key responsibilities include triage (in-person and by phone), coordinating follow-up and referrals, administering meds/vaccines/treatments within scope, completing wound care and other clinical procedures (labs, POC testing, EKGs), and documenting clearly and accurately in the EHR.
Required qualifications:
- Current Utah RN license; graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS (upon hire or within 90 days)
- Strong assessment skills; calm prioritization in a fast-paced setting
- Clear written/verbal communication; team-first collaboration
- Trauma-informed, culturally responsive care
If you’re ready to bring steady hands and a warm approach to triage nursing, apply today.
Your Day, In Motion
You’ll be onsite in Salt Lake City, working Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm. The day starts with quick huddles and a steady rhythm of walk-ins, scheduled RN time, and the occasional curveball—because healthcare loves surprises. You’ll bounce between brief check-ins, focused procedures, and moments of patient education that actually stick. Between visits, you’ll connect with teammates across disciplines to keep plans aligned, then wrap things up by closing the loop on messages, follow-ups, and documentation so tomorrow starts clean.
