Description
The successful candidate will coordinate calendars, meetings, agendas, presentations, expenses, travel, offsites, and general administrative activities with accuracy and discretion.

The Administrative Assistant will:
Manage the Senior Vice President’s calendar, including scheduling, prioritizing requests, resolving conflicts, and protecting preparation time
Coordinate meetings, including room or virtual bookings, agendas, materials, attendance tracking, and follow-up items
Prepare, format, and proofread presentations, reports, briefing materials, agendas, and correspondence using Microsoft Office and AI-enabled tools where appropriate
Process expenses accurately and on time, including receipts, approvals, coding, and follow-up
Support travel, offsite meetings, and team events, including logistics, communications, materials, and budget tracking
Provide general administrative support, including document management, file organization, correspondence, data entry, invoices, and team communications
Proactively identify opportunities to use AI, automation, and new tools to simplify administrative processes and improve quality, speed, and consistency
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
To be successful as an Administrative Assistant at People Corporation, you will need:
Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
Excellent calendar management, scheduling, and coordination capabilities
Clear written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams
Curiosity and willingness to embrace AI, automation, and new tools that improve efficiency and quality of work
Professionalism, discretion, resourcefulness, and sound judgment
All-star candidates will have:
Experience in a coordinator, administrative assistant or executive assistant role
Experience coordinating calendars, meetings, agendas, travel, expenses, and offsite logistics
Strong skills in preparing and proofreading presentations, reports, and correspondence
Experience in professional services, benefits, insurance, financial services, or a corporate environment is an asset

The base salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per annum.
This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be able to provide additional details of the total compensation for this role.
