Description
Play a key role in transforming procurement through data-driven insights, strategic sourcing, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Advanced
Analytics knowledge: Fundamental with data science concept, Python or R to
clean data, automate workflows, and build basic predictive models. Data
Storytelling: Translating complex predictive insights into interactive
dashboards (using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) for non-technical stakeholders.
Buying
and procurement skillsets: Experience in the supply chain roles, core buying,
hard skills and soft abilities typically in procurement and purchasing. Service
Delivery: Ensure the timely delivery of goods and services in accordance with
established service levels and KPIs. Quotation
Processes: Drive the quotation process by defining evaluation criteria,
identifying and selecting suppliers, executing the evaluation process, and
refining and validating sourcing and purchasing options. Stakeholder
Engagement: Manage buy-in from key stakeholders to ensure alignment and
collaboration throughout the procurement process. Reporting
& Analysis: Prepare and present reports to management, analyzing metrics
and projection results to inform decision-making. Time
Management: Demonstrate urgency and deliver tasks on time, even under tight
deadlines. Process
Optimization: Apply and optimize procurement processes, automating where
feasible, to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Analytical
& Problem-Solving Skills: Analyzing data, designing systems,
troubleshooting issues, and optimizing technology performance. Technical
Skills: Programming languages (like Python, Java, JavaScript), software
development, database management, networking, and cybersecurity. Interdisciplinary
Collaboration: Participate in interdisciplinary working groups and project work
to gather insights, influence outcomes, and enhance internal processes and
procedures. Continuous
Improvement: Recommend process improvements and develop tools aimed at
fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the procurement function. Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Proven
experience in supply chain management, Information Systems or Computer Science
related field. Strong
analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed
decisions. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement. Ability
to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Proficient
in using procurement software and tools, with a focus on process automation. Proficient
in utilizing procurement software and tools, including SAP, Excel and tableau
to streamline purchasing processes and data management. Preference
