Summary:
In this role, you will lead the end-to-end data and analytics function accountable for the business intelligence team and analytics team, governance, platforms, and delivery of insights for 340B Prime Vendor Program (PVP) and Health Resources & Service Administration (HRSA) contract requirements. Leading a team of software engineers, architects, and analyst professionals ensuring data is trusted, secure, and actively used that empowers leaders and teams to make faster higher-quality decisions. You will partner closely with the Director of the Project Management Office & Technology Applications and Director of 340B Engineering to ensure alignment on organizational technology initiatives and run the business operations. In addition to serving as the HRSA-designated Prime Vendor for the 340B Drug Pricing Program and Apexus offers professional training, validation through its Advanced 340B Operations Certificate Program. Responsibilities:
- Lead a high performing analytics team to deliver solutions through collecting, mining, and analyzing data to generate insights leading to action.
- Lead, support & participate in day-to-day operations and oversight of business intelligence team.
- Attract, develop, and retain skilled, competent, motivated, creative team members.
- Leverage analytics and intelligence resources to advise Apexus leadership team regarding their strategic questions.
- Define processes and procedures that govern how analytics and business intelligence will empower business unit.
- Administer and develop data integrity processes, systems, and optimize staff operations.
- Participate and/or lead in process improvement initiatives.
- Provide exceptional customer service to 340B stakeholders regarding technology questions.
- Collaborate across the organization creating an analytics & business intelligence vision development of strategy, roadmap, and drive execution of that roadmap.
- Participate in IT project governance process.
- Help manage backlogs and prioritize work.
- Keep up to date with development tools and make recommendations to senior leadership when required.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Degree preferred.
- 7 or more years in analytics, data management, data engineering, technology, or business intelligence including leadership of data/analytics/business intelligence teams required
- 340B, pharmacy, manufacturer or wholesaler experience preferred.
- Strong technical foundation with experience in data analytics, business intelligence, distributed systems, and cloud-based architecture preferred.
- Experience with managing enterprise data assets, within the health care industry preferred.
- Experience applying agile methodologies and best practices in complex, high-availability environments.
- Experience leading and coaching technology teams.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Azure DevOps (ADO), for backlog management, delivery tracking, and operational visibility preferred.
- Experience with Azure Cloud, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks and Strategy preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate, adopt, and scale appropriate tools and technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience writing queries in SQL Server or Oracle.

Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $135,200.00 to $236,600.00.
