ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Head of Manufacturing UK to lead the transformation of our manufacturing operations.
We're seeking a visible, inspiring leader who can create a high-performance culture, develop future leaders, drive operational excellence and build an environment where people feel empowered, accountable and engaged every day.
Reporting to the Regional Manufacturing Director, you will have responsibility for manufacturing performance, operational strategy, continuous improvement, capital investment, safety, quality and people development.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Leading manufacturing teams to deliver outstanding performance in safety, quality, service and cost.
Driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency and asset reliability across the sites.
Developing future leaders, building capability and fostering a culture of accountability and engagement.
Managing major investment and improvement projects to support long-term business growth.
Championing sustainability, regulatory compliance and best-in-class manufacturing standards.
Collaborating with UK, regional and EMEA stakeholders to implement strategic priorities and share best practice.
ABOUT YOU
10+ years' leadership experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
Proven track record of leading large operational teams and delivering business results.
Strong experience in continuous improvement, performance management, asset optimisation and CAPEX delivery.
Experience managing budgets and driving cost optimisation initiatives.
HSEQ risk management and problem-solving expertise.
Lean Six Sigma knowledge and experience implementing continuous improvement programmes.
Experience working in a unionised environment or alongside employee representative bodies.
Degree-qualified in an engineering, manufacturing or related technical discipline.
Experience within plastics processing or a related manufacturing sector would be highly desirable
