Our client is a reputable sourcing manufacturer with an expertise in product development. With a well-established market presence and ambitious growth plans, the company is seeking an accomplished Head of IT to lead its technology strategy and enable the next phase of business expansion.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of IT will provide strategic and operational leadership for the company’s technology function. Leading a small team, you will own the end-to-end IT strategy, roadmap, AI Adoption, systems landscape and service delivery across the business. This is a broad leadership role spanning enterprise applications, infrastructure, data, cybersecurity, digitalisation and vendor management. You will ensure that technology investment is closely aligned to commercial and operational priorities, building the systems, processes and governance needed to support a growing, globally connected manufacturing organisation. You will set and execute the IT strategy and multi-year roadmap, ensuring technology priorities support business growth, operational efficiency and scalability. Drive digital transformation across all business units, operations, including technical data analytics, information management, process automation and continuous improvement. Lead, develop and motivate the IT team, while acting as a trusted technology partner to senior leadership and business stakeholders across operations, finance, supply chain and IT Operations. Lastly, manage external technology providers and implementation partners, ensuring projects are delivered to scope, budget, quality and timeline expectations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of progressive IT experience within a manufacturing environment, covering ERP or manufacturing-solution design, development, implementation, deployment and support.
- Demonstrated track record of leading IT strategy, technology transformation and business change within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience managing a broad IT remit across enterprise applications, infrastructure, data, cybersecurity and third-party vendors.
- Proven people-leadership capability, with the ability to build, develop and retain a high-performing IT team.
- Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence senior business leaders and build effective relationships with internal users and external partners.
- A resilient, accountable and delivery-focused leadership style, with the judgement and drive to raise technology and operational performance standards.
- Strong analytical ability, with the capability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Chinese, including Cantonese and/or Mandarin.
