Would you like to actively contribute to the energy transition while ensuring structure and transparency in complex infrastructure projects? As a Document Management Consultant, you will support energy suppliers and grid operators in the professional management of their project documentation – from planning through to commissioning. You will work on forward-looking projects related to grid expansion and renewable energy, ensuring that information is traceable, quality-assured and available whenever needed.

Your Mission

You will support our clients in implementing, optimising and managing document management processes in complex infrastructure and energy projects. You will ensure that documents are managed in a compliant, structured and efficient manner throughout the entire project lifecycle.

As a key interface between project teams, business functions and external partners, you will ensure smooth processes, high data quality and compliance with relevant standards and requirements.

What you can expect

Take control of documents
You will manage project documents throughout their entire lifecycle – from creation, approvals and version control through to archiving. You will ensure that documents are complete, up to date and stored in a transparent and traceable manner at all times.

Processes that work
You will develop and further improve document management processes, guidelines and standards and support their implementation in day-to-day project work. You will also support the administration and continuous optimisation of the systems and tools used.

Ensure quality and minimize risks
You will carry out quality and completeness checks, ensure compliance with documentation and regulatory requirements, and prepare relevant documentation for audits, reviews and project approvals.

Strengthen consulting and collaboration
You will support project teams with questions relating to document management and Document Control, deliver training sessions and work closely with business functions as well as planning and permitting teams to successfully implement documentation requirements.

We are looking for

  • You have at least 2–4 years of professional experience in document management or Document Control, ideally in construction, infrastructure or large-scale plant projects
  • You have practical experience with common Document Management and CDE systems and very good knowledge of MS Office
  • You work in a structured, independent and detail-oriented manner and are able to maintain an overview even in dynamic project environments
  • You have strong communication and teamwork skills and enjoy working with different stakeholders
  • You have fluent German and very good English skills and are willing to travel depending on project requirements
  • This position is available on a full-time or part-time basis
