Desert Springs Post Acute – Palm Desert, CA

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE
Desert Springs Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and customer-service-oriented Hospitality Aide to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in healthcare who enjoy helping others and creating a welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff.
As a Hospitality Aide, you will provide non-clinical support to residents and assist the nursing team with tasks that enhance resident comfort, satisfaction, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Welcome new residents and assist with orientation to the facility.
- Deliver water, snacks, meals, and other comfort items as requested.
- Assist residents with non-clinical needs and daily comfort measures.
- Escort residents to activities, appointments, and dining areas.
- Maintain clean, organized resident rooms and common areas.
- Restock supplies throughout the facility.
- Assist with resident engagement and social activities.
- Answer call lights and communicate resident needs to nursing staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and visitors.
- Support the nursing team with non-direct care tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous customer service, hospitality, caregiving, or healthcare experience is a plus.
- Friendly, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and move supplies as needed.
