Job Summary
This Job is a merge of Logistics, Insourced and Outsourced Warehouse manager roles. Differentiation can be made in WD with using different Business/Position title. Role specific content is explicitly mentioned below.
Create and manage sustainable processes for transportation, warehousing, and related services and costs.
Key Areas of Responsibility
• Leads and mentors logistics team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
• Manages warehouse operations (insourced or outsourced) to meet customer order expectations and requirements.
• Manages day-to-day performance of own warehouse or 3PLs according to contract terms.
• Oversees inbound flow and put-away strategy.
• Manage stock accuracy, including differences and damages
• Outsourced Warehouse Manager: Responsible for stock accuracy and cost coverage in Helios
• Implements and utilizes WMS to optimize space utilization.
• Implements and utilizes TMS to optimize load and route planning.
• Ensures pick/pack/load efficiency and productivity.
• Manages returns and reverse logistics.
• Ensures compliance with safety policies, security policies, customs regulations, and quality standards.
• Leads or supports logistics projects aligned with regional and global strategies.
• Develops warehouse strategy based on customer feedback and global logistics vision and proposes improvements.
Critical Experiences
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, including experience with warehouse operations, inventory management, and working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
• Certification in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD) or similar is highly recommended to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
