As a Senior Occupancy Planner, you are a proactive leader driving occupancy strategies and portfolio optimization on behalf of our client. Reporting to the Americas Occupancy Planning Lead, you will act as a strategic partner bridging the line of business goals with creative space solutions.

You are a Subject Matter Expert in the client's workplace programs, utilizing data analytics to design forward-thinking occupancy plans, migration schedules, and group-level sequencing. A master of navigating ambiguity, you will model superior client relationship management, guiding both your team and stakeholders through the evolution of the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Delivery: Translate complex business requirements into occupancy plans and space solutions, utilizing industry best practices, sharing ratios, and neighborhood workplace programs.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between the client and internal partners. Foster strong relationships with the Real Estate and Workplace Services team, Project Management, and Facilities Management to align on headcount projections, move executions, and timelines.

  • Change Management & Communication: Act as an excellent communicator and storyteller, delivering effective change management before, during, and after workspace transitions to ensure a seamless Googler experience.

  • Continuous Improvement: Oversee and approve data quality, block/stack plans, and headcount audits while actively implementing continuous improvement programs for overall project delivery.

  • Leadership & Team Growth: Manage and mentor the occupancy planning and space teams. Provide high-quality onboarding, training, and performance management to foster an environment of teamwork and personal success.

  • Experience: 5–7 years of progressively responsible experience in occupancy planning, space management, and change management with at least 3 years of direct supervisory experience leading teams.

  • Data Fluency: Expert-level analytical skills with a mastery of Google Sheets to analyze occupancy metrics, spot trends, and translate data into actionable visual stories via Google Slides.

  • Technical Toolkit: Proficiency with CAFM systems and AutoCAD, alongside a strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and furniture systems.

  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional active listening, verbal, and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage and influence stakeholders at all leadership levels.

  • Mindset: A proactive, self-starting approach with a proven ability to work independently, problem-solve on the fly, and thrive in ambiguous situations.

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

110,000.00 – 145,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
