We look for people who have bold new ideas, courage and a pioneering spirit to join forces to invent the future, and have fun along the way. Our culture thrives on intellectual curiosity, cognitive diversity and bringing your whole self to work — and we have an insatiable drive to do what others think is impossible. Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Business Management Analyst (Level 3) or Senior Principal Business Management Analyst (Level 4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. There is limited opportunity for hybrid/remote work, but in those cases the employee will be expected to routinely come into the office based on a schedule agreed upon with the manager.

The Business Management Analyst will be responsible for providing support to the Sector and Division Contracts organizations. This includes being a focal point for contracts process, policies, and industry regulations, including the Risk Work Authorization (RWA) system, and management of the SOX self-audit process for contract set up. In addition, the Business Management Analyst will be responsible for managing various reporting responsibilities related to contracts, including: RWAs, SOX Controls, Closeouts, UCAs, and other topics as necessary. Attendance in Sector meetings, working groups, and compliance councils will also be a regular and expected role for this position. The selected candidate will be an integral part of Sector Operations in ensuring that the contracts professionals in AS have the resources and support required for success.

The successful analyst will have strong organizational and communication skills and be able to find creative and efficient solutions to the business challenges of a diverse AS Sector customer base and complex contract requirements. They will also be a conduit between Contracts, Sector Finance, Billing, Cost & Schedule Management and other functional areas, other sectors’ Contracts and IWO organizations, and the Chief Information & Digital Office (CIDO).

Keys to success include:

  • Acting as primary Learning Exchange (LX) administrator and be responsible for tasks including maintenance of functional trainings in LX and My Learning Experience (MLE).
  • Providing regular support and facilitation of the ECTAC Program. As part of the ECTAC team, the successful candidate will be responsible for communicating with instructors, setting up classes, facilitating live classes, recording attendance, and closing classes.
  • Acting as a focal point for Aeronautics Systems Sector to manage data calls at the Sector and Enterprise level
  • Identifying potential process/system enhancements, and acting as a focal point for PrOP updates
  • Utilizing SAP S/4, Analysis Office, PIEE (Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment)/WAWF (Wide Area Workflow), MOCAS (Mechanization of Contract Administration Services) Data Access and other reporting tools to perform business analysis to support data calls and requests for information
  • Supporting initiatives and ad hoc requests from Sector and Corporate leadership
