Expectations:
Provides for and/or ensures that the spiritual needs of patients, family members, hospital staff and physicians are met as a part of care provided by Huntington Hospital. Provides educational opportunities for Chaplains, Volunteers, and Staff and in the community regarding a variety of spiritually and culturally diverse needs including end of life issues. Provides pastoral counseling and spiritual guidance as needed. This position requires flexibility of hours.EDUCATION:
A Master of Divinity Degree (preferred) or Masters in Theology, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry or related field required. Ecclesiastical endorsement for hospital chaplaincy, preferred. Four units of a Clinical Pastoral Education are preferred. Certification as a Chaplain by a national chaplaincy organization preferred.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Minimum three years in a healthcare organization serving a patient population with an average daily census of 250 is preferred.

Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $38.18 - $43.90.Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
