Job Description

As a Security Officer Morning Patrol Residential in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential community, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, assist residents and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to the residential community, verify visitor and vendor entry as directed by site policies, and communicate with property staff and emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
