For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar;
- At least 5 years of professional experience on Software Engineer, with a focus on Backend Development with Java;
- Solid experience with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, etc.) - experience with NoSQL databases is a nice to have;
- Understanding of code versioning and CI/CD tools (Git, Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket, XLDeploy);
- Experience with SDLC (analysis, design, development, tests and deployment);
- Experience building automated tests (TDD/BDD);
- Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Control-M and Airflow is valued;
- Grasp on distributed process/data technologies like Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Kafka among others is valued;
- Understanding of code quality analysis tools such as SonarQube and CheckMarkx is valued;
- Experience of ETL, Microservices Architecture and Conteiners is highly valued;
- Functional programming knowledge is valued;
- Prior experience working in the financial domain is valued;
- Fluency in English (B2 Level or above);
- Fluency in French (B2 Level or above) is a nice to have;
- Availability for a hybrid regime, 2x/week, in Porto offices (candidates must be based in Portugal and Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit is required).
