About ARCXIS
ARCXIS provides engineering, inspection, energy, testing, and code-compliance services to residential and commercial construction clients throughout United States. Our integrated services include Florida private provider plan review and inspections, mechanical and HVAC design verification, airflow testing, blower door and duct leakage testing, energy code final inspections, HERS and ENERGY STAR certifications, construction quality assurance inspections, and compaction testing and certifications.
As ARCXIS expands its Florida Panhandle and Coastal Alabama presence within the Central Region Florida Division, we are seeking an experienced sales professional who understands the Florida construction industry and can build lasting relationships with homebuilders, general contractors, developers, trade partners, and other industry stakeholders.
The Opportunity
ARCXIS is hiring an experienced Sales Manager for the Florida Panhandle and Coastal Alabama to lead business development and sales activities for our private provider, construction quality, energy inspection, testing, and integrated building services.
This is not an entry-level sales position. The successful candidate should bring established experience selling services within Florida’s residential construction industry and a practical understanding of how builders, developers, construction teams, building departments, and third-party inspection providers work together.
The Sales Manager will have primary responsibility for developing the Florida Panhandle and Coastal Alabama market, building and managing the sales pipeline, strengthening customer relationships, and converting opportunities into sustainable revenue. This position will serve as the commercial owner of the territory and will work closely with ARCXIS operational and technical leadership to ensure that proposed scopes, customer expectations, and service capacity remain aligned.
The position is being created to provide dedicated sales coverage following the addition of the Florida Panhandle to the Central Region Florida Division.
What You’ll Do
Territory Development and Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute a market-growth strategy for the Florida Panhandle and Coastal Alabama.
- Establish a consistent ARCXIS presence throughout the assigned territory.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities with homebuilders, developers, general contractors, construction managers, and related industry partners.
- Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of private provider, construction quality, energy inspection, testing, and integrated service opportunities.
- Manage the sales process from initial prospecting and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, award, and operational handoff.
- Maintain clear ownership and accountability for territory activity, opportunity progression, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
- Represent ARCXIS at customer meetings, jobsites, industry events, builder-association activities, and other relevant market functions.
Customer and Industry Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with builder executives, purchasing teams, construction leaders, superintendents, project managers, developers, and other decision-makers.
- Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned prospects and customers within the territory.
- Conduct proactive customer follow-up and maintain regular communication throughout the sales and onboarding process.
- Understand customer priorities, operational challenges, construction schedules, and service expectations.
- Support the resolution of commercial or relationship issues in coordination with ARCXIS operational leadership.
- Conduct regular account reviews and identify opportunities to expand ARCXIS’s services within existing customer relationships.
- Maintain professional relationships with relevant construction-industry organizations and market stakeholders.
Proposals and Sales-to-Operations Handoffs
- Prepare and coordinate proposals using ARCXIS-approved scopes, rates, service descriptions, and commercial terms.
- Track proposal status, customer decisions, follow-up dates, and next steps.
- Ensure accepted opportunities are transferred to Operations through a complete and accurate handoff.
- Document the approved scope, pricing structure, service mix, customer contacts, anticipated volume, target start dates, relevant jurisdictions, and communication expectations.
- Coordinate internal and customer kickoff meetings when needed.
- Remain involved during customer implementation to help ensure that sales commitments are understood and executed appropriately.
- Assist Operations in obtaining missing customer or project information required for a successful launch.
CRM, Forecasting, and Reporting
- Maintain accurate account, contact, opportunity, proposal, activity, and follow-up information in the company CRM.
- Record customer calls, meetings, commitments, open items, next steps, owners, and due dates.
- Provide regular pipeline forecasts and sales activity updates to leadership.
- Track open opportunities, proposals, wins and losses, builder volume, anticipated start dates, and upcoming customer milestones.
- Maintain disciplined follow-up practices and proactively address opportunities that are stalled or at risk.
- Coordinate with leadership to evaluate market performance, customer needs, and territory-development priorities.
Requirements

- Experience preparing proposals, defining scopes, coordinating pricing, and transitioning awarded work to operational teams.
