Overview
We are looking for a Privileged Access Management (PAM) Security Officer to support the implementation and ongoing management of enterprise privileged access solutions. In this role, you will work closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to implement, configure, and maintain CyberArk PAM while ensuring compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in IT security, identity and access management, and project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end implementation of CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, including onboarding, configuration, testing, deployment, and transition to Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations.
- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design validation, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Ensure CyberArk PAM solutions comply with regulatory requirements, internal security policies, governance standards, and audit controls.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance PAM policies, standards, procedures, and operational documentation.
- Manage the privileged access lifecycle, including provisioning, de-provisioning, credential management, and privileged account onboarding.
- Support Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Single Sign-On (SSO) integration, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls to strengthen access governance.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to resolve implementation issues and improve privileged access processes.
- Assist with security audits, compliance assessments, and remediation activities related to privileged access management.
- Monitor PAM operations, investigate access-related issues, and provide operational support to ensure system availability and security.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in privileged access management processes and security best practices.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Exposure to CyberArk, Privileged Access Management (PAM), or Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, system administration, and directory services such as Active Directory (AD) and LDAP.
- Knowledge of privileged account lifecycle management, including account provisioning and de-provisioning.
- Familiarity with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), authentication, authorization, logging, and access governance concepts.
- Basic understanding of Single Sign-On (SSO) and Segregation of Duties (SoD) principles.
- Understanding of software implementation or IT project lifecycles.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting CyberArk implementation or administration projects.
- Familiarity with regulatory and security compliance frameworks.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and operational support practices.
- Exposure to scripting or automation for identity and access management is an advantage.
Soft Skills
