To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Shipping Clerk located in Manchester, Connecticut.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Shipping Clerk role involves…
What a typical day looks like:
- Move materials to storage areas and production lines using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including recording material locations and conducting cycle counts.
- Prepare materials and products for shipment.
- Accurately document material movements and inventory transactions according to company procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect and maintain material-handling equipment and report maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, company policies, and applicable regulations.
- Troubleshoot shipping issues and assist with resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Address and resolve issues related to shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.
- Collaborate with production, warehouse, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Additional education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related technical field is a plus.
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or operations experience preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems, such as SAP, is preferred.
- Understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements, including cGMP environments, is a plus.
