Job Summary**
As a Project Manager Customer Delivery, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and closure of customer projects, ensuring on-time delivery, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, fostering strong relationships and driving customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities**
* Lead and manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, adhering to FLSmidth project management methodologies.
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
* Manage project teams, including internal resources and external contractors, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
* Communicate regularly with customers, providing status updates, managing expectations, and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
* Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
* Ensure projects are delivered within the agreed-upon budget and schedule, proactively identifying and mitigating potential cost overruns or delays.
* Conduct regular project reviews, both internally and with customers, to assess performance and gather feedback.
* Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and close-out reports.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices within project management.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the heavy industrial, mining, or capital equipment sector.
* Proven track record of successfully delivering complex customer projects on time and within budget.
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 certification is a plus).
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
* Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in other languages relevant to FLSmidth's global operations is a plus.
