Accounts Officer

Role Highlights
This is a broad Accounts Officer position suited to someone who enjoys variety and taking ownership of transactional finance processes. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you'll manage the procure-to-pay process, support payroll, assist with accounts receivable when required and contribute to ongoing process improvements across the finance function. Responsibilities

• End-to-end accounts payable including invoice processing, supplier reconciliations and payment runs
• Raise purchase orders, maintain supplier records and support vendor onboarding
• Manage supplier queries and resolve outstanding account issues
• Provide backup support to the weekly payroll processing and payroll administration
• Provide backup support across accounts receivable including invoicing, receipting and customer enquiries
• Assist with a range of accounting reconciliations
• Prepare customer and supplier reports as required
• Maintain financial records and supporting documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support finance administration projects

Candidate Profile
You will have previous experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer or similar finance position with strong exposure to accounts payable (essential) and payroll (desired). Ideally, you will have worked in an organisation undergoing significant change. You're organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment, build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and take pride in delivering high-quality work. Strong systems skills, a proactive attitude and a willingness to support the broader finance team will set you up for success in this role.
