Accounts Officer

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Officer to join a values-driven organisation based in Perth CBD. Working closely with the Accounts Manager and senior leadership team, this hands-on role offers broad exposure across day-to-day finance operations within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Process invoices, payment runs, and supplier reconciliations.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with payroll processing and related administration.
• Prepare reports and support month-end activities.
• Respond to internal and external finance queries.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Utilise Xero and ApprovalMax to support efficient financial processes.
• Provide general support to the Accounts Manager and wider business.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Previous experience in an Accounts Officer, Accounts Assistant, or similar finance role.
• Solid exposure to both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Experience using Xero (essential); ApprovalMax experience will be highly regarded.
• Payroll experience or exposure.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• A Certificate IV, Diploma in Accounting, or equivalent qualification is desirable.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
