Designs and builds multimedia and interactive learning programs to enable Wash's employee audiences to maintain and install commercial laundry appliances. Will also design and safety, customer service and leadership programs to ensure achievement of operational metrics. Utilizes learning theory and methodologies to design experiences that help professional audiences advance their careers and achieve operational excellence. Plans and oversees projects, schedules, and completion criteria. Analyzes learning effectiveness measured through quantitative and qualitative metrics. Works with executives, departmental leaders, and product managers to conduct training needs analysis and job task analysis for widely varied products and partnerships. Develops content in new and innovative formats including video, social media, interactive 360, 3D, mobile eLearning, HTML5, workshop student guides, and PowerPoints.

 What you will do:

• Create project plans and conduct training development to sounds adult design principles
• Conduct training needs analysis, audience analysis, and CX research
• Design task-based performance support, sales courses, and technical vocational education
• Create storyboards, scripts, assessments, interactive simulations, workshops, and curriculum paths
• Write, edit, review, and test course materials according to industry standards
• Write, edit, review, and test assessments according to industry standards
• Author learning content using the latest technologies including video and interactive media
• Write training content based on internal and external research about product functions, operation, procedures, and sales strategies.
• Manage and implement training content translations
• Manage project documentation, course folders, and archives.
• Plan and produce live video content for eLearning and social media
• Produce screen-capture video on PC or mobile with voiceover (Camtasia or OBS)

What we are looking for:

• MA/MS in Instructional or Learning Design or BA/BS degree in a related field and/or 10+ years working as an instructional designer
• eLearning course creation software experience (Articulate 360, Rise, Camtasia, Captivate)
• Experience with multimedia development including basic video editing skills
• Strong project management skills and the flexibility to work on multiple projects concurrently
• Experience with social media, web technology, and distributed cloud services
• Experience with AI-based content authoring tools
• Excellent technical writing and editing skills 
• Strong communications and negotiation skills

We Value:

• Ability to operate independently in a matrix with remote team members
• Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) like Docebo, Workday Learn, SAP Litmos, etc
• Studio video, audio, still photography, and lighting experience
