General Procurement Specialist
The Headhunter LTD Albania, daughter company of The Headhunter Group, for its prestigious client operating in the field of Construction, is looking for a General Procurement Specialist.
About the role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented General Procurement Specialist to support and drive the full procurement cycle. In this role, you will be responsible for market research, supplier identification, documentation management, and database maintenance — ensuring the company secures the best value products and services in a timely and compliant manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse, research, and continuously monitor the market regarding prices and quality of potential products that can serve the company
- Follow the procurement process and identify the best potential suppliers, presenting offers to the Contract & Procurement Manager for evaluation
- Prepare the necessary documentation for the initiation, development, and successful conclusion of the procurement process
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders throughout the procurement process to ensure timely sharing of relevant information
- Support the contract negotiation process and negotiate directly with suppliers when required
- Organise and maintain the procurement database, consolidating existing supplier records and enriching it with potential new suppliers
- Periodically update the price system database with data from all received offers and contracted purchases
- Perform any other procurement tasks assigned by the Contract & Procurement Manager
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles
- Experience in the construction or real estate industry is a strong advantage
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier evaluation, and contract administration
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- High level of analytical thinking with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word); experience with procurement or ERP software is a plus
- Good command of English
