Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a reliable and innovative approach to public-facing security-related services.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $29.93 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, staff, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting supervisors, first responders, and/or designated personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, public areas, and/or restricted spaces, verify credentials when required, and document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns according to post procedures.
• Support emergency response activities, crowd management needs, and/or special event operations while maintaining professional communication with the public and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
