Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Associate in Duluth, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe public areas to help to deter disruptions, assist with orderly entry and exit, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or security-related concerns.
• Support daily operations by completing incident reports, noting observations, and following post instructions related to government facility operations, public interaction, and/or after-hours checks.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
