Description

What you’ll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
JIT/JIS Process and Equipment Development: Plan and develop Just-In-Time (JIT) and Just-In-Sequence (JIS) processes, concepts, and equipment to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of modules from suppliers to the point of fit on the assembly line.
Material Flow Management: Manage and optimize both manual and automated material flow processes, covering the entire path from supplier facilities to dock doors and through internal logistics to the final point of use in production.
Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate closely with JIT/JIS suppliers in the automotive industry to resolve delivery and quality issues, ensuring stable and efficient supply chain operations.
Automated Unloading Systems: While the design and implementation of automated unloading systems for trailers is the responsibility of assembly planning, logistics plays a key role in aligning the premises and timing requirements in a cross-functional team to ensure seamless integration into the overall material flow.
Product Planning Integration: Align logistics strategies with product planning to synchronize production schedules with material availability, ensuring seamless coordination between planning and execution.
Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams—including logistics, production, planning, and supplier management—to successfully execute JIT/JIS strategies and ensure alignment across all departments involved in the end-to-end material flow.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Drive continuous improvement efforts aimed at reducing lead times, enhancing supplier performance, and optimizing logistics processes from supplier origin to final assembly fit.
