Overview
As a Preventative Maintenance Mechanic, you'll focus on keeping refuse vehicles and heavy equipment in optimal condition through scheduled maintenance. Your responsibilities include engine repair, welding and fabrication, troubleshooting with electronic tools, electrical repairs, DOT inspections, oil changes, tire maintenance, and emissions troubleshooting. The position requires minimum 2 years of heavy-duty technician experience and ability to perform basic inspections on brakes, drivetrain, hydraulics, transmissions, and steering systems.
