Overview
As a Preventative Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform repairs and maintenance on refuse vehicles and heavy machinery including vehicle refuse bodies, air brake systems, suspension, steering, hydraulics, electrical systems, engines, HVAC components, drivetrain, and chassis components. Responsibilities include engine repair, welding, troubleshooting with electronic tools, DOT inspections, oil changes, tire repair, and preventative maintenance. Requires minimum 2 years of heavy-duty technician experience and ability to perform basic inspections of various systems.
