Employee Engagement & Community Relations Coordinator

Lone Star is looking for a creative, outgoing, and organized individual to help strengthen our company culture, recognize our employees, manage our social media presence, and coordinate community involvement. Daily Activities

• Develop and coordinate employee appreciation and recognition programs
• Organize employee birthdays, work anniversaries, Employee of the Month, and other special milestones
• Create meaningful ways to recognize employee achievements and outstanding performance
• Manage company social media accounts and create engaging content
• Highlight employees, company accomplishments, events, and community involvement through social media
• Capture photos and videos at company events and job sites as appropriate
• Create professional graphics, announcements, and promotional materials
• Plan and coordinate employee appreciation lunches, holiday celebrations, and company events
• Develop creative initiatives to improve employee morale and strengthen company culture
• Coordinate charitable donations, sponsorships, volunteer opportunities, and community outreach programs
• Build and maintain relationships with local schools, nonprofit organizations, and community partners
• Organize seasonal giving initiatives, including holiday family sponsorships and donation drives
• Maintain an annual calendar of employee recognition activities, company events, and community involvement
• Help strengthen communication and engagement between office employees, field crews, and management
• Work with leadership to develop new employee engagement ideas and company traditions
• Coordinate event supplies, employee gifts, vendors, and related budgets
• Represent Lone Star professionally at company and community events
• Maintain ongoing communication with management regarding upcoming events, initiatives, and employee engagement activities
• Become and remain knowledgeable about our company, services, and values
• Adhere to company employment standards and Best Practices
• Always provide the highest level of internal and external customer service
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Any other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• Positive, outgoing, and personable with a genuine passion for people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop and implement new ideas
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Experience with social media platforms, content creation, and Canva preferred
• Experience in event planning, marketing, employee engagement, or community relations preferred
• Comfortable interacting with employees, management, and community organizations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate events and activities within established budgets
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when appropriate
• Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to take initiative
• Photography and basic graphic design skills are a plus
• Willingness to occasionally attend company or community events outside normal business hours
• Prefer 1 year's experience in a related role

Compensation

Compensation depends on experience and qualifications.
