On Call / Substitute Injury Prevention Professional (Hourly)

Supports the creation and implementation of programs focused on the prevention of work injuries, physical conditioning, and employee education and wellness. 

Key Accountabilities

• Conducts employee injury prevention programs, education, and training.
• Develops exercise programs specific to injury prevention and conditioning needs.
• Collects and document appropriate program data to support the ROI process.
• Develop, promote, and market wellness and general education programs.
• Supports employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation and care management.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, or Exercise Science or other related field required.
• Current Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.
• Personal Training certification from ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM, NETA or NSCA a plus.
• First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute preferred.
• Work experience in a clinical environment (occupational therapy, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, nursing) preferred.
• 2-3 years’ experience in corporate based health and fitness program preferred.
• Understanding of Biomechanics, occupational safety and proficient in exercise prescription preferred.

Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. The compensation range for this role is $25.00-$30.00/hour The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.  We understand that compensation is an important factor when considering a new opportunity, and we strive to provide a competitive wage within the market.
