Your Impact
We are seeking a Global Application Specialist to lead the operational management, governance, continuous improvement, and business support of the Visitor Identity Management (VIM) platform across all global sites for a high-profile client. Acting as their primary liaison between business stakeholders, regional operations teams, and TDS, this role ensures the stability, consistency, compliance, and ongoing enhancement of the application environment.
The role combines application administration, stakeholder management, change coordination, incident management, vendor coordination, release management, documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement activities to ensure the successful operation of the VIM platform across all regions.

Your Impact

What You’ll Do
In addition to the above, your key responsibilities will include:
Application Operations
- Manage day-to-day administration and support of the VIM platform.
- Maintain global application configurations and standards.
- Support all live sites and coordinate transition of new deployments into BAU support.
- Implement approved configuration changes and maintain configuration documentation.
- Gather and assess business requirements from global stakeholders.
- Evaluate impacts of requested enhancements and changes.
- Coordinate approval, implementation, and tracking of change requests.
- Support software upgrades and new site deployments.
- Act as the primary operational contact for business and operational stakeholders.
- Provide guidance on workflows, processes, and system usage.
- Coordinate issue resolution and facilitate regular operational reviews.
- Identify and escalate operational risks and improvement opportunities.
- Serve as the operational lead for incidents and support requests.
- Act as Level 3 SME for escalations from regional support teams.
- Manage ticket progression, SLA compliance, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate communications and corrective actions for recurring issues.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Client and TDS.
- Coordinate support activities, service reviews, and operational discussions.
- Track vendor commitments, deliverables, and escalations.
- Report on support trends and service performance.
- Coordinate software releases, patches, and deployment activities.
- Manage testing, validation, and production rollout activities.
- Maintain release schedules, documentation, and deployment records.
- Track and coordinate resolution of release-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to approved processes, standards, and configurations.
- Monitor and address unauthorized changes or configuration deviations.
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and remediation activities.
- Escalate requests requiring additional business, policy, or security approval.
- Maintain support procedures, knowledge articles, training materials, and escalation documentation.
- Ensure documentation remains current following system or process changes.
- Support onboarding and training of new users.
- Manage the application enhancement backlog.
- Gather user feedback and identify service improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate review and implementation of approved enhancements.
- Recommend initiatives that improve user experience and operational efficiency.
- Produce operational status, service review, and performance reports.
- Track and report on incidents, risks, actions, and service trends.
- Communicate planned releases, changes, and ongoing operational activities to stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise software applications in a global environment.
- Experience managing business-critical applications across multiple sites and regions.
- Strong understanding of application support, incident management, change management, and release management processes.
- Experience coordinating with third-party vendors and software providers.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different regions and cultures.
- Experience working within ITIL-based service management environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience with VIM or comparable enterprise workflow/document management platforms.
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent.
- Experience supporting SaaS, cloud, or enterprise-wide business applications.
- Exposure to software deployment projects and global system rollouts.
- Experience working within regulated or compliance-driven environments.
