Overview
The ideal candidate is an IT/Business professional with a strong finance and accounting background and proven experience in managing IT projects related to Finance and Procurement processes. The role requires effective cross-functional collaboration with multiple stakeholders to support leadership in managing complex project activities, including the preparation of project deliverables, process design, and continuous business alignment. By defining the current and future state of the Menarini Group's business processes, identifying risks, suggesting mitigation strategies, and driving towards innovative technology solutions, this person must be:

The role will lead as Project Manager the effective implementation, management, and optimization of Finance and Procurement solutions and their related integrations, actively driving system integrators and internal stakeholders. The candidate will oversee the entire project lifecycle, managing required customizations, defining technical guidelines and standards, and cooperating with Solution Architects and Infrastructure Leads for system configuration and landscape setup.
Furthermore, the candidate will work closely with key stakeholders to gather and translate business needs into clear requirement documents. They will write compelling business cases and proposals, deliver cost-effective solutions, and proactively track business feedback to build continuous improvements into future releases.
Main Activities & Responsibilities
Process Design:
- Map business processes and analyze the impact of new processes or systems within the Company group
- Model (as-is) and re-design (to-be) processes according to predefined goals or changing business drivers
- Identify improvements in the business operating model in line with business objectives and priorities
- Conduct benchmarking activities to ensure best practices
- Support the Change Manager in projects with significant organizational impact, such as operating model reviews and design/redesign
- Assist Business Key-Users and Process Owners in managing change across all related aspects
Project Execution:
- Apply strong vendor management skills to oversee system integrators and external providers, ensuring projects are delivered within the agreed scope and budget
- Interact closely with Business Key-Users and Process Owners
- Gather and analyze business requirements
- Design the technical solution to address business needs
- Manage and participate in multiple projects (drafting project documentation, detailing project scope, monitoring priorities)
- Oversee software configuration and implementation activities.
- Oversee post-go-live support.
- Identify proactive and reactive improvement opportunities.
Business Applications Management:
- Supervise the integration processes and related system roadmaps.
- Collaborate with strategic vendors and drive the contractual stages to set up successful and cost-effective relationships.
Job Requirements
Education & Languages:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Professional Experience:
- > 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role within a multinational company or a consulting firm
- Proven track record in project management and process design projects;
- Proven experience in IT Project Management, with a focus on Finance and Procurement processes;
- Deep knowledge of Finance and Procurement processes (e.g., Procure to Pay, Contract & Vendor Management, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Management, Treasury, Financial Planning, …);
- Experience with SAP is considered a plus.
Additional Knowledge & Soft Skills:
- Experience in digital innovation and transformation (preferably within finance, audit, or procurement environments)
- Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and data-handling capabilities
- Proactive attitude, change-oriented, and capable of engaging effectively with multiple and diverse stakeholders
- Team-oriented and goal-driven
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace is preferred
- Proficient in using AI tools to streamline workflows
- Understanding of AI concepts and staying up-to-date with the latest trend.
The selected candidate will be employed under Category B in accordance with the provisions of the current National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry, with an estimated annual base salary between Eur 42.000,00 and Eur 44.000,00, including all applicable contractual and remuneration terms, and in compliance with Legislative Decree No. 96/2026.
