  • Demonstrated understanding of the claims resolution process for Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, Property, and Automobile claims.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-jurisdictional claims environment.
  • Ability to analyze issues, make sound decisions, and develop practical solutions independently.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative, with a commitment to accountability, knowledge sharing, and service excellence.
  • Knowledge of commercial insurance claims, carrier practices, and regulatory requirements, with a commitment to continuous learning.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, agency systems (Applied EPIC preferred), carrier platforms, and AI tools.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable team player with a positive mindset, strong work ethic, and resilience.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience handling Workers’ Compensation claims, preferably in a mid-market commercial lines insurance agency environment or carrier commercial environment.
  • Connecticut, New York, and/or New Jersey Casualty Adjuster’s License (or ability to obtain/maintain as required).
  • Professional designations related to claims, risk management, or insurance preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
