We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Advocacy team at Marsh. This role will be based in Sydney. This is a hybrid role with a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office and two days from home.
Senior Claims Advocate - FINPRO
In this role, you will support clients on FINPRO claims by providing coverage and claims strategy guidance across moderately complex matters. You will work closely with clients, insurers, and internal colleagues to help progress claims from notification through to closure. The role suits someone who enjoys analysing coverage issues, preparing client communications, and contributing to practical claims solutions.
We will count on you to:
Provide coverage and claims strategy guidance to clients on moderately complex claims matters
Identify relevant policies and analyse notifications against coverage positions to support client outcomes
Manage the claims process from notification through to closure, with supervision as required
Monitor insurer responses and engage with insurers and their advisers on coverage discussions and queries
Draft client communications, including correspondence letters, claims calculations and reviewed documents
Analyse claims data, including loss statistics, key trends and cost reduction opportunities, to support action planning
What you need to have:
Experience in claims, insurance, or a related advisory environment
Capability to interpret policy coverage and apply it to claims situations
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear client-facing documents
Good analytical skills and the ability to work with claims data and detail accurately
