Role summary:The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services, is responsible for managing and executing exterior maintenance projects to ensure safe, functional, and visually appealing facility environments. This role involves coordinating resources, overseeing third-party providers, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The technician performs equipment operation, troubleshooting, and seasonal maintenance activities while supporting cost control and quality assurance efforts. What you'll do:
- Operate and maintain exterior facility equipment, including power tools and snow removal machinery, ensuring safety and compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.
- Manage landscaping activities such as pruning, mowing, mulching, herbicide spraying, and weed control to maintain facility appearance and sustainability.
- Plan, prioritize, and execute scheduled projects, coordinating resources and workforce needs to meet quality and safety requirements.
- Conduct quality inspections, and troubleshoot facility issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain vehicle condition and documentation, coordinating necessary maintenance and safety checks.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience operating power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of exterior maintenance practices including pruning, mowing, mulching, weed control, and herbicide application.
- Ability to manage projects by prioritizing work assignments and coordinating resources effectively.
- Strong understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Skilled in troubleshooting, quality assurance inspections, and resolving facility-related issues.
- Competence in vehicle maintenance and operation, including safety checks and documentation.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and support customer service.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
