Description
The role:
The Workday Analyst serves as a techno-functional SME in the deployment and support of Workday solutions by advising, designing, configuring, documenting, and testing to ensure that projects are completed and issues are resolved while meeting the operational and strategic goals of the Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). A mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, technical expertise, and collaboration is needed to effectively achieve successful results. The Workday Analyst is a SME in at least four functional areas within Workday (including core HCM, Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking) and is able to balance multiple priorities at the same time.
What you will do:
- Support Workday by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of and expertise in several Workday functional areas, such as core HCM, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent, Benefits, Compensation, Integrations, and Security.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders including HR, Finance, and IT teams to understand their needs, gather requirements, and implement solutions that enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Configure Workday to align with the organization's unique processes and requirements. This involves understanding business workflows and translating them into Workday configurations.
- Integrate Workday with other Board of Pensions and third-party systems.
- Provide support to end-users, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and help to ensure that employees are proficient in utilizing Workday’s capabilities.
- Manage feature releases, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations while maximizing the benefits of new features.
- Effectively utilize Workday’s reporting capabilities to extract insights from data, aiding decision-making processes across departments.
- Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to other team members.
What you need to succeed:
- Minimum five years of experience with Workday in a consulting or support role.
- Experience with core HCM, Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking, and Talent Optimization required.
- Workday Pro certification is preferred (ex. Human Capital Management; Payroll, Absence and Timekeeping)
- Experience supporting Talent, Benefits, Compensation, Integrations, Security, AP, AR, GL, and Adaptive Planning preferred.
- Experience with integration tools like EIB, Studio, RaaS, and Orchestrate preferred.
- Ability to analyze and interpret user needs, translate them into technical requirements, configure to meet requirements, and document solutions clearly.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate with both technical and functional stakeholders.
- Capability to balance multiple assignments, prioritize effectively, and deliver accurate, high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in a culture committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Experience implementing and supporting Agentic AI is a plus.· Willingness to learn Salesforce configuration and automation is a plus.
- An ability, interest and desire to stay current via seminars, industry literature, and formal training and development.
- An ability to work on-site Tuesday – Thursday at the 2000 Market Street office in Philadelphia.
