About the role
Location: Kifissia, Attica Greece
Contract: Permanent
Responsibilities
- Oversee the accurate posting, reconciliation, and analysis of all accounting entries.
- Ensure the company's compliance with Greek legislation, tax requirements, and accounting standards (Greek GAAP and IFRS).
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, as well as the preparation and submission of financial statements.
- Monitor intercompany transactions, ensuring the accuracy and transparency of balance sheet positions.
- Collaborate with external auditors and the Group finance team at head office.
- Ensure the proper operation of the ERP system and internal controls.
- Coordinate the accounting team for the timely and accurate filing of tax returns (VAT, income tax, withholding taxes).
- Prepare financial reports and support the Finance Department in budgeting and forecasting processes.
