Job Summary

We are seeking a positive-minded, detail-oriented, and organized individual to join our team for this full-time, in-office position. Responsibilities include various accounting responsibilities, and providing guidance and assistance for other accounting and ticket staff as needed. This role is a great, long-term opportunity for someone looking for a fulfilling job in a tight-knit, well-rounded accounting team.

 

Responsibilities

- Assist A/R & A/P staff with investigating and resolving issues

- Cross train to provide coverage for A/R & A/P

- Assist in month/quarter/year end processes including bank reconciliations and journal entries in accordance with GAAP

- Prepare and process sales tax filings

- Provide guidance and assistance to accounting/office staff

- Collaborate with dispatch and operations on various projects as needed

- Provide continuous improvement tactics and ideas

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related field required

- 5+ years of experience in accounting required

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Confidence with general technology including Windows computer hardware/software, ERP systems, and Office 365 products

- High level Excel skills including complex formulas, clean and concise summary sheets, and automation or simplification

- Experience with Quickbooks & Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus

- Proficient in keyboard typing and numeric data entry

- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
